Friendship

Friendship is like a good wine that you never want to end. It shelters you in the hell of times and cools you from the many pressures of the world. The road that leads to a friends house is comforting in itself. As we grow older, we learn more about what we desire in a friend and how love can save us. We all want that steady friendship that makes a person stronger and more loving. We question what we want more of, friendship or love? One is different from the other. Love does require friendship and friendship, love. But love attracts opposites. It begs for something extreme and out of the ordinary. While, friendship wants nothing but sameness and equality. God says love Me and keeps Me as a friend. He will not forsake you and leave you to suffer.But God isn't a friend, it's beyond friendship. It's even beyond a relationship. So what is friendship? It isn't really a necessity in life to have friends. Just like reading, movies, art, writing, and even emotions like love may not be necessary through out life. ..But it is considered one of those things that give a life value. It is with the many friends that fill my life and love to share theirs with me that I consider my life to be of high value.
